STEP 03
We come to you, look the vehicle over, and hand you the cash before it goes on the truck. You sign the ICBC Transfer/Tax Form, keep your plates, and that is the whole process.

We do not quote high over the phone and then renegotiate on your driveway.
Yes, and it is a large part of what we do. Seized brakes, a dead battery, flat-spotted tires, a car that has not moved since 2015 — none of that stops a sale. It changes the equipment we bring rather than whether we come. Tell us how long it has been sitting when you book so we arrive with a winch and a deck truck instead of expecting to drive it away.
Yes, in all 15 cities we serve, and it is not quietly deducted from your offer. There is no distance surcharge and no fuel charge for the far end of the region. The only thing distance actually changes is scheduling: a Tri-Cities collection can often happen the same day, while the outer edges are planned trips worth a day or two of notice.
Your vehicle registration showing you as the registered owner, government-issued photo ID that matches it, and the ICBC Transfer/Tax Form — the APV9T — which you sign at collection. If there is still a loan against the vehicle, that lien has to be cleared before ownership can transfer cleanly. You do not need an inspection certificate; AirCare ended in 2014.
Keep the plates. This surprises people who have sold a car in another province, but in British Columbia the plates stay with the seller and never travel with the vehicle. Take them off before or at collection, then bring them with your signed copy of the transfer form to any Autoplan broker to cancel the insurance and claim a refund on the unused portion.
Cash, handed to you at collection, before the vehicle goes on the truck. No waiting period, no cheque that clears next week, no deposit now with the balance to follow. If any buyer asks to take a car away and pay you afterwards, that is an arrangement worth declining regardless of who is offering it.
